The new construction distribution center of Dimensio Verpakkingen in Almere has been sold to the German asset manager Union Investment.
The ultramodern DC is currently being built on the Stichtsekant business park. Aan De Stegge Twello has recently started the construction. How much the German investor pays has not been announced. Union Investment is one of the larger German real estate investors in our country.
Dimensio Packaging is a wholesaler in packaging material and offers a wide range from plastic bags to cardboard boxes. The company has been based in Almere for more than 25 years. The new building provides for the rapid growth of the company. The Stichtsekant business park offered the ideal solution because of its large-scale option.
Long-term lease
The new development has an area of 34,000 m2, divided over a 29,000 m2 warehouse, 1,400 m2 mezzanine, 3,600 m2 office and 290 parking spaces. The building meets all requirements for a modern logistics operation. The building will be completed in June 2021, after which the tenant will commit to the location for a long period.
