FrieslandCampina (initiator and tenant) and Hurks vastgoedontwikkeling (investor and developer) will start the construction work Tuesday 13 December 2011 for the new FrieslandCampina Innovation Centre in Wageningen. The development will be realized in the next 1 1/2 year at the Wageningen University Capmpus. The property will be put delivered mid 2013. Hurks vastgoedontwikkeling and FrieslandCampina will invest together an amount of approx. € 60 million in this complex.

The new complex will create a working environment for 400 R&D employees on 19,785 m2 of gross floor area: 4,600 m2 laboratories and rooms for taste testing, 2,400 m2 techno-hall (testing factory), 3,800 m2 facility rooms, 7,100 m2 offices and 1,885 m2 mixed use.

The complex is developed by Hurks vastgoedontwikkeling and will be realized by Hurks van der Linden, part of Hurks groep. OeverZaaijer architects is responsible for the architectural design and Fokkema & Partners Architecten created the interior design. Arcadis Nederlands is advisor regarding the constructions and installations.
